Transparency and equality

Norefjell Ski Resort actively works towards gender equality and against discrimination based on gender, pregnancy, childbirth or adoption leave, caregiving responsibilities, ethnicity, religion, belief, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, and combinations of these grounds.

The Transparency Act came into effect on July 1, 2022. The main purpose of the law is to promote businesses' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. The law also aims to ensure that the public has access to information on how businesses handle their human rights risks. Since the law's enactment, Norefjell Ski Resort and Norefjell Project Development have been working on conducting due diligence assessments and focusing on building expertise on the Transparency Act, its purpose, and the company's obligations.
